Cascade is a kinetic coat hanger that only expands its form when items are placed on it. When not in use, it takes up minimal space but with items of clothing on it it transforms into a beautiful installment.

The hanger is made from plywood cut on a CNC router which has been stained for the desired aesthetic. The hanger pieces are connected with fishing line, which can easily hold enough weight for a full set of coats to be hung. The fishing wire is also translucent which stops it from detracting attention from the main geometry of the design.
